According to the website Sign On San Diego, Bali Hai, the beloved Shelter Island bar and reataurant famous for its Mr. Bali Hai statue and mug, has undergone some much-needed interior rennovations. When I was there in 2004, the restaurant’s massive wood beams were all painted pink!
