Florida serviceman operates tiki bar in Iraq

Sgt. 1st Class Robert Frazier of Hollywood, Florida operates the “Bandit Tiki Bar” at Camp Ramadi in Iraq. The little hut on the hill is decorated with seashells, leis, balloons shaped like fish, and string of little red lights outside that spell “Tiki Bar.”

Effort underway to save Hilton Head tiki hut

Plans to redevelop the Holiday Inn Oceanfront in Hilton Head, NC, into condos call for the demolition of the resort’s tiki hut, which has been serving drinks since 1977. Local residents are banding together to save the Coligny Beach landmark with an online petition and awareness events.
