Trader Vic’s, Dallas, TX
It took a little longer than expected, but the Trader Vic's location in Dallas has finally re-opened, after a 17-year hiatus.
The restaurant had operated for 40 years at the location, but sat closed for over a decade before developers of the Hotel Palomar removed everything, tore down the building, rebuilt the structure, and put it all back.
What a pleasure it is to see a classic tiki bar actually open up instead of being demolished.
