Trader Vic’s Chicago location is closed once again
Chicagoist, a Chicago-area culture blog, broke the news on July 1st that the Trader Vic's Chicago location has closed permanently. We were anxious when its return was announced in 2007, excited when it finally did open in 2009, and now sad to see it gone again.
The Chicagoist story has some savvy speculation on potential reasons behind the restaurant's demise, but whatever the reason, tiki fans in the Windy City have one less thing to be excited about today.
