Tikiyaki Orchestra promotes new CD with souvenirs from non-existent tiki hotel

Tikiyaki Polynesian Village HotelExotica-music band The Tikiyaki Orchestra has come up with a brilliant way to promote its new album, "Aloha Baby." One of the options for fans is to buy a $100 "Deluxe Vacation Getaway Package" with ephemera from its non-existent Polynesian-themed hotel.

The package includes:

  • The new CD, "Aloha Baby"
  • A hotel logo ice bucket
  • A room key printed with the hotel logo
  • A limited-edition tiki mug by Bosko
  • A lava tiki pendant from the artist Kirby
  • A tiki-shaped hotel soap

I'm officially jealous -- I wish our band had thought of such a cool promotion. The set is a limited edition of 200 and word is that it's selling out fast.
