Tiki Road Trip, 2nd Edition, points out the latest tiki hotspots around the world

Tiki Road Trip 2The first edition of James Teitelbaum’s Tiki Road Trip had become an essential part of my library, consulted frequently before taking a trip to see if there were any tiki bars to visit at my destination. That first edition was printed in 2003, and since then a number of great new bars have opened up, while sadly some have closed; so James has come out with a revised and expanded 2nd edition to fill in the gaps.

This newest edition goes into more historical detail about the classic tiki bars, while emphasizing the new kids on the tiki bar block. Now with 80 more pages than the first edition, the book also features more photographs of bar interiors, menus, mugs, and other artifacts. The international section has been expanded to cover the growing European tiki bar scene and Hawaii has been throughly documented as well.

James will be selling and signing his book at Hukilau 2007, now only 4 days away, or it can be ordered at Amazon.com at the link below.
