Tiki No, a new tiki bar with a retro feel has been getting a bit of press attention since it opened earlier last month. The Los Angeles Times just published a comprehensive review of the North Hollywood bar with quotes from tiki culture luminaries Otto Von Stroheim and Sven A. Kirsten.
In a nutshell, the interior (designed by Bamboo Ben) gets high marks, but the drinks fall just short of perfection. At least that's easy to fix!
