Tiki Farm releases ‘Aqua Tiki’ mug from artist Flounder
I have to admit that I'm a sucker for the work of artist Flounder (a.k.a. Scott Sheidly), who got his start in tiki and has gone on to make a name for himself in the world of lowbrow art. Every so often he collaborates with tiki mug maker Tiki Farm and the results are spectacular. Back in 2007 he designed Radar Vic and Tron the Beachcomber; last night the company released his latest creation, Aqua Tiki.
Aqua Tiki stands 5.5 inches tall but holds a whopping 25 ounces in his head and belly. The level of detail on the tiki's face and on the diving helmet is incredible (check out the squid on the back).
