Tiki coffee shop opens in Costa Mesa
Wes Johnson, owner of the House of Tiki in Costa Mesa, California, has opened a tiki-themed coffee shop, Hot Lava Java, next door to his shop that sells all sorts of tiki things. Besides coffees, the restaurant also carries Hawaiian shaved ices and some traditional island snacks.
Johnson, who designs and sells furniture and has built-out numerous tiki bars in the past, created and fabricated the store's look with the help of a few friends.
