Tiki Boyd’s revives classic tiki bar in Denver
Long standing tiki fans are used to classic tiki bars suddenly turning into sports bars, but how often does the reverse happen? In Denver, Colorado, Aaron Specht, who managed the sports bar at the Ramada Hotel, became a convert after a chance meeting with the staff of Modern Drunkard Magazine. The result was the shutdown and redecoration of "E.C.B." into "Tiki Boyd's."
The bar spins exotica on the sound system and has cache of specialty drinks crafted by their own bartending staff.
Update (3/17/06): Tiki Boyd's is temporarily closed while the owners procure another location.
