The Crazed Mug’s CD “My Mug Collection” up for a Hawaii Music Award
The Crazed Mug's debut CD, "My Mug Collection" was my personal favorite from last year. Critical response has been so good that it's been nominated in the 9th Annual Hawaii Music Awards in the "Island Contemporary" category.
The Hawaii Music Awards are the "People's Choice Awards" for Hawaii—the very first to recognize all the diverse categories of music in Hawaii and the Pacific Rim. Voting takes place on the internet via their web site and email, so that means you can vote.
Sadly, the group's tenor ukulele player and vocalist Rusty Key died of a heart attack this year. I think a win in the awards would be a fitting tribute.
