Texas A&M to loose their tiki mascot, Izzy the Islander
Since 2004, Texas A&M University's Corpus Christi campus' mascot was Izzy the Islander, who wore a tiki mask and grass skirt. But how much longer will he last?
Back in 2010, it was reported that Izzy was going to be replaced by a yet to be named character wearing a school t-shirt, blue board shorts, and flip flops, but Izzy still seems to be active today.
Does anybody know the story?
