Take “A Walk in the Park” audio tour with Tiki Room Imagineer Rolly Crump
Disney Legend and former Imagineer Rolly Crump was the creative force behind many great Disneyland and Walt Disney World attractions and shops, including it's a small world, The Haunted Mansion, and The Enchanted Tiki Room. For the Tiki Room, Rolly designed each of the gods in the Tiki Garden, the Enchanted Fountain, and the birdmobile; he ended up sculpting most of them himself as WED's sculptors were too busy with other projects, despite the fact he had never sculpted before.
Now, Rolly has recorded a guided audio tour of Disneyland’s most popular attractions, filled with historical and entertaining insights, personal touches and heartwarming stories from Rolly’s years working alongside Walt Disney and other Disney Imagineers. The tour is available as an mp3 download or physical CD (play the YouTube video above for a sample).
I'm a huge fan of Rolly's work in the parks and have devoured his eTicket Magazine interviews over the years. I'm going to be looking forward to taking this guided tour, even through I'm 2,500 miles away.
