The Taboo Tiki Room is an old-school styled tiki bar located in Berlin, Germany.
Their website doesn’t have a lot of information right now other than the operating hours, but it’s always good to know that you’ve got someplace tiki to go when globe hopping.

There is an odd bond with this place and Hale Tiki. When we went to build Hale Tiki, I had a camera sent by Pablus for me to shoot the build out for a documentary on tiki. Bamboo Ben, Crazy Al, Basement Kahuna and I spent a week there on the place and I shot the “before” and in progress video that was the beginning of the video project. When we got back home, there on Tiki Central were images from Tiki Diablo in Berlin on the build out of Taboo Tiki, and they had the exact same tapa cloth on the walls and it was being shot by Mogambo for his tiki documentary. It was the first we knew of either of them.
Now, neither video has been released. The hurricane was a major blow to Pablus production, but he says it will get done. Mo had a baby (well, his wife did) and is making sure all the video possible gets in this once in a generation production. Hale Tiki is closed, but it may reopen with a new owner.
