Summer 2011 issue of Twenty-Three magazine delves into Disney’s tiki past
A press release on the new issue of twenty-three magazine, the official newsletter of Disney's D23 fan club, teases an article that's sure to be of interest to tiki fans:
PASSING THE TIKI TORCH: From the Enchanted Tiki Room to the blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean films, the work of two laid-back Southern California craftsmen is carved into Disney lore.
It will be interesting to see who the article is about—I would have assumed that word would have leaked out by this point. The magazine is mailed out to members but is also available from select Barnes and Noble and Borders locations and will be on newsstands May 3, 2011.
