Slack Key Christmas CD
With Christmas less than 10 days away, radio stations have started playing Christmas songs in earnest — the same one's they play every year. What's a tiki-lover to do? Fortunately, Christmas music CDs have become a niche market in the last decade and lots of genres get represented during the holidays, including Hawaiian music.
I missed Slack Key Christmas when it was released last year, and it's a shame: the lineup features some of the best contemporary slack key players working today, including Jim "Kemo" West and Jeff Peterson. It's definitely worth a listen!
