The always busy Josh Agle (a.k.a. Shag) has teamed up with Tiki Farm once again to create a new series of tiki mugs, this time celebrating the belated 40th anniversary of Blake Edwards' Pink Panther films. Shag redesigned the iconic character in 2004 for a giant merchandise push, but these mugs are being produced now for the first time.
There are three vessels in all: two tall tiki mugs with the Pink Panther and Inspector Clouseau on alternating sides and a scorpion bowl with the faces of the Panther, Clouseau, and a fez-wearing "minkey" on the side. Each is a limited edition of 1964 (the year the first movie was released).
Pre-orders are being accepted now now for December delivery. The mugs are $16.95 each and the bowl is $28.95 — or you can get all three for $55 (prices do not include tax and shipping). Each piece is individually boxed with character art.
