Polynesian Paradise dance company takes Hollywood by storm
Polynesian Paradise is a professional Polynesian entertainment company specializing in the traditional and modern dances of Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand and Samoa. The group has been very active since their inception in 1993 and is now doing over 300 performances a year.
Hollywood party planners seem to have taken notice. In the last few years the group has performed at the movie openings for Lilo and Stitch & 50 First Dates, and at corporate events and private functions for NBC, Visa, Disney, Arnold Schwarzeneggar, and Los Angeles Mayor Jim Hahn.
The group also performs at local festivals and holds weekly classes in Polynesian dance for beginning, intermediate, and advanced level dancers.
