Oahu’s last classic tiki bar for sale
La Mariana Sailing Club, the last great tiki bar in Oahu, is up for sale at the cool price of 3 million dollars. The 92-year-old owner, Annette Nahinu, doesn't feel like she has long to live and doesn't want to leave the fate of the bar up in the air.
The bar has been open since 1955 and is a veritable tiki restaurant museum — through the years Annette acquired decorations from other establishments as they closed: lamps from Trader Vics, tables and chairs from Don the Beach Comber, and tikis from the Kon Tiki Room at the Sheraton.
