New cocktail menu revealed at Maui’s South Shore Tiki Lounge
According to The Maui News, the South Shore Tiki Bar has a new, more tikified drink menu:
"One of our goals at the bar has always been to take the tiki theme further with decor, parties, and now cocktails! " says owner Mikhail Tassi. His wife and business partner, Alma Tassi, agrees. "We wanted to go further with the tiki theme and so we expanded our rum-based tropical cocktails, particularly adding our version of a Zombie.
"After many recipes, we've finally boiled down our favorites to an expanded cocktail menu inspired by a mash-up of tiki classics and our own take on island-style liquid libations. It was truly a group effort with the staff pitching in their ideas. The goal was to try to mix in some tiki classics, but also keep to what's true to Hawaii and our patrons."
I haven't been able to find an updated list of drinks on their website, but their Flickr pool shows a Zombie, Haupia, and Sneaky Tiki among others.
