Kon-Tiki recreation completes Peru to Raroia voyage
Six explorers who set out on a modern recreation of Thor Heyerdahl's Kon-Tiki expedition in April arrived at the Tuamotu atoll of Raroia last Saturday, making the voyage from Peru to the South Seas in 71 days.
The vessel will make a couple of ceremonial appearances before it's transported back to Norway to go on display.
