South-Florida based artist Erika Taguchi-Newton has a fascinating and beautiful series of paintings featuring a hula girl/squid hybrid done in acrylics. Shown here is “huladollsquidgirllovestiki.” There are currently four paintings in the series.

Special wood-mounted versions have been available in her etsy store from time-to-time, but 8 inch by 10 inch prints are consistently offered at her bigcartel shop.
