Hawaii General Store, Seattle, WA
The Hawaii General Store is filled to the brim with island-related merchandise, just 15-minutes away from the Space Needle in a quiet Seattle neighborhood.
The store carries a wide variety of items—aloha shirts, ukuleles, music, food, books, housewares, and even operates a travel agency on premises to book trips to the islands should you get caught up in the aloha spirit. The tiki mug selection was a bit on the thin side for my tastes, but they did have several items that I'd never seen before, including aloha print mailboxes, tiki beer koozies, and some nicely done resin flower vases that look like tiki mugs.
I was excited to buy a bag of powered poi (just add water) and actually managed to get it through airport security on a carryon without too many odd looks.
The store also operates a website where some of the items can be purchased online.
