Epic Mickey wii game to feature tiki

Epic Mickey screenshotAt the E3 conference this week, Disney Interactive announced Epic Mickey, a new Nintendo Wii-exclusive game starring the titular mouse.

Epic Mickey is inspired by Disney characters and Mickey's more mischievous personality from the 1930s and '40s. This amoral Mickey is thrust into a dark mirror world ruled by Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt's first cartoon hit, the rights to which were acquired by Bob Iger in one of his first acts as the president of the Walt Disney Company in 2006.

One of the screenshots revealed at the conference show Mickey on a quest to retrieve three tiki heads for a character named "Tiki Sam" -- a reference to the Jungle Cruise's old Trader Sam perhaps?

Epic Mickey will be released on November 1, 2010.
