Dr. Zarkov’s Tiki Lounge broadcasts live every Wednesday night

Radio Fairfax logoIt may seem hard to believe that in world full of podcasts and iDevices, live radio programming is still alive and kicking. Case in point: Dr. Zarkov’s Tiki Lounge. The show's focus in on exotica tunes, but themed broadcasts also delve into other subjects, such as the recent shows devoted to Mardi Gras and space music.

The broadcast originates from Radio Fairfax in Northern Virginia Wednesday nights from 5-6PM EST, but listeners from other parts of the world can listen in on the internet, either from the radio station's website or tunein.com, from their iOS, Android, Windows Phone, or BlackBerry devices using the free TuneIn Radio app, or Roku, GoogleTV, and other home devices. Since it is a true broadcast, the show is not captured for streaming at a later date. Playlists are posted one week after each show at the Tiki Central music forum.
