Disney uses tiki to teach Internet safety
Disney.com has a nifty mini-website with games to teach children about Internet safety—primarily warnings about giving away information that stalkers could use, but it also covers a smattering of netiquette and a little about viruses too.
Mickey and friends head to "Surf Swell Island" (ouch, that's a corny pun) where their mission is to rebuild a jeweled tiki by answering questions correctly. Young teens would probably roll their eyes at the list of don'ts (never give away your real name — so how are you supposed to hook up for underage sex using MySpace?), but it's a painless way to at least spark discussion with younger kids and maybe keep them from typing in ALL CAPS.
