A lot of us have probably considered building elaborate an tiki-themed backyard from time-to-time, but have wondered 1) where to get real bamboo? and 2) how long would it last before cracking and discoloring? An enterprising company in Florida seems to have a unique solution: Bamfaux.
Bamfaux is imitation bamboo made from PVC pipe. Available in diameters ranging from 1 inch to 8 inches and any length up to 20 feet, the hollow pipe can be used for applications like covering load-bearing posts, carrying water under pressure and downspouts.
Bamfaux is available in two colors: natural (tan) and green.
Price varies by thickness and length.
