2nd Annual Southern California Slack Key Festival

The Southern California Slack Key Festival in Redondo Beach is the only location anywhere outside Hawaii where you can find the best Hawaiian slack key guitarists in the world on one stage together. Honoring one of the worldʼs great acoustic guitar traditions, “slack key” (ki hoʼalu), the Festival takes place January 18, 2009 2:00pm at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center and features seven of the most respected names in Hawaiian guitar music today — a who's who of slack key, all recipients of numerous awards including Grammy Awards, Na Hoku HanoHano (Hawaiian Grammy) Awards, Criticʼs Choice and Peopleʼs Choice awards:
